Hellbear Smashers defend their Snow Sweet Snow title

Hellbear Smashers successfully defended their Snow Sweet Snow title after a 3:1 victory over Vikin.gg. 

Misery and Ace's new team Hellbear Smashers has been on the rise since forming early January 2021. Although they were relegated to the Lower Division of the DPC 2021 Season 1, they took the first place spot there eventually and advanced to the Upper Division. 

During that time, they also took their first title as a team at Snow Sweet Snow #1. And now, they have done it again. 

Their second-place finish in the groups gave them a spot in the upper brackets for the playoffs. Unfortunately, they were immediately dropped to the lower brackets by Vikin.gg after a 2:1 series. 

A forfeit by B8 due to roster issues gave Hellbear Smashers a free win to the next round where they then overwhelmed creepwave  2:1 then PuckChamp and finally exacted revenge on Vikin.gg in the grand finals with a 3:1 victory.

Snow Sweet Snow #2 Format

• Group Stage
  • Two groups of eight teams
  • Single round-robin
  • All matches are Bo3
  • Top two teams in each group advance to the Upper Bracket
  • 3^rd and 6^th place teams in each group advance to the Lower Bracket
  • Remaining teams in each group are eliminated

• Playoffs
  • Double-elimination bracket
  • Grand Final is Bo5, all other matches are Bo3
