WePlay! Mad Moon; The battle continues

The group stage of WePlay! Mad Moon has come to an end and the playoffs have already begun.

Things are heating up at WePlay! Mad Moon as things have shifted from the group stage to the playoffs.

After finishing the group stage, the remaining six teams were seeded into the playoffs. Of little surprise, Team Secret (the favored team to win) and Virtus.pro (despite their struggles was still among the teams expected to do well) took top place in each of their groups. They were rewarded with a direct placement into the semi-finals of the upper brackets. The event looks like a cakewalk for Team Secret who has gone undefeated so far and VP isn't too far behind with only one loss to their name. The famed Russian organization took down Gambit 2:0 in the playoffs to advance to the finals, guaranteeing themselves a top 3 finish for the event.

Meanwhile, Nigma esports' struggles seemed to be ironed out a bit as they progress through the event. In the best-of-one decider match against Aggressive Mode Amer ‘Miracle-‘ Al-Barkawi stole the show with his Tiny performance and new record.

The battle wages on later today, February 21st at 13:00 CET as Nigma will take on B8. The loser will then face-off against Gambit in a fight for survival, best-of-three elimination series.
