The EPICENTER group stage is over. Four teams were sent home before even stepping on the grand stage, leaving six participants to duel in the playoffs single elimination bracket.
Two big surprises have already happened at EPIC ENTER. After the premature elimination of OG from the tournament, the group A ends with LGD Forever Young taking down 2-0 Team Secret in the last series of Group A, thus claiming the top seed of the group and a spot into the playoffs semifinals next to Evil Geniuses. The final six squads will enter the arena and will began their on stage matches tomorrow, at 12:00 CEST. The first day at the VTB Ice Palace will feature Team Secret playing for their tournament survival against Invictus Gaming in the first series of the day, followed at 16:00CEST by Team Liquid taking on the home crowd favorites, Virtus Pro.
Both LFY and EG will have a day off waiting for their opponents to be decided. The semifinals will be played in the second day of the main event, with the grand finals scheduled to take place on the last day, on the 11th of June at 14:00 CEST.
