Register now for EPICENTER: Moscow open qualifiers

Teams can now officially register for the EPICENTER: Moscow open qualifiers.

Two separate rounds will grant a total of six teams - two from NA/SA, two from SEA, one from EU and one from CIS a place in the closed qualifiers for their respective regions. Separate Chinese qualifiers will be forthcoming. The first of two rounds of EPICENTER: Moscow open qualifiers kicks off this weekend - April 21-23rd for NA/SA, SEA and CIS regions. One team from each region will advance into the closed qualifiers. The following weekend will be the second set of EPICENTER: Moscow open qualifiers -April 30-May 2 NA/SA, SEA and this time EU teams will have a chance to compete for the allocated spot.

Closed qualifiers for NA/SA, SEA and CIS/EU will take place from May 6-14 in a double elimination bracket fomat. One team from each region will have a chance to try their luck at the main event for a piece of the $500,000 prize pool. 

Ten teams - six directly invited and four qualified from around the world will be battling it out in Moscow and the VTB Ice Palace sports arena. As of now, no teams have been announced.

April 21

  • Participation confirmation: 1:00 p.m. local time in each region
  • Tournament start: 3:00 p.m. local time in each region
  • Rounds played: Round of 512 to Round of 32

April 22

  • Tournament start: 3:00 p.m. local time in each region
  • Rounds played: Round of 32 to semifinals

April 23

  • Tournament start: 3:00 p.m. local time in each region
  • Rounds played: until a finalist is decided

Registration for NA/SA HERE, SEA HERE, EU HERE

April 30

  • Participation confirmation: 1:00 p.m. local time in each region
  • Tournament start: 3:00 p.m. local time in each region
  • Rounds played: Round of 512 to Round of 32

May 1

  • Tournament start: 3:00 p.m. local time in each region
  • Rounds played: Round of 32 to semifinals

May 2

  • Tournament start: 3:00 p.m. local time in each region
  • Rounds played: until a finalist is decided

 

EPICENTER: Moscow prize pool

The tournament boasts a $500 000 prize pool split among all ten participating teams

1st Place: $250 000
2nd Place: $100 000
3rd and 4th Place: $40 000
5th and 6th Place: $20 000
7th and 8th Place: $10 000
9th and 10th Place: $5000
