Northern Arena BEAT Invitational lower bracket summary

Day three of the Northern Arena BEAT Invitational began with a couple of lower bracket best-of-one elimination games, the first being EG versus Ad Finem followed by Alliance versus Team NP.

EG vs Ad Finem

Ad Finem managed to keep the game fairly even for the first fifteen minutes, but from then on Evil Geniuses put on a dominating performance. Claiming kill after kill and keeping up dominant vision across the map, EG were able to dominate the game until thirty minutes when they went high ground. As EG took a full five man bot to drop only the tier three tower, Ad Finem split pushed top lane and managed to drop the barracks and claim one of the tier four towers.

But unfortunately for Ad Finem it was a little too late, and just under fifteen minutes later EG took the game, eliminating Ad Finem from the tournament.

Alliance vs Team NP

The second elimination match of the day saw Team NP going up against Alliance. After Alliance were able to play a very solid game, holding their towers and avoiding a lot of the ganks from NP. But as the game progressed, the combined NP line up just became too strong for Alliance to defend against. They were sadly eliminated from the event.

This means that Team NP move on to face EG in another best-of-one elimination match, which takes place after the upcoming upper bracket final. The loser of this final will face off against the winner of EG and NP in the lower bracket final.

You can follow all of the action including the finals, which take place tomorrow, right here.
