Boston Major ticket sales will begin today. They will be available for purchase through online and physical means.

Tickets for the upcoming Boston Major in December will be split into two cost categories: $20 and $40. The $20 tickets are for one day admission while the $40 tickets are used for admission on the day of the Grand Finals. The tickets can be bought via ticketmaster.com, the Citi Performing Arts Center Box Office located at 270 Tremont Street, Boston, or calling (800) 982-ARTS (2787). Ticket sales begin on the 14th of October at 16:00 CEST.

The Boston Major will take place over four days between the 7th and 10th of December at Boston's Wang Theater, which has a capacity of about 3600. According to Ticketmaster, the event will start at 10:00 EST daily.

Compared to the other Majors, the Boston Major is featuring many changes. Most notably, the event will be the shortest of all the Majors, featuring a single-elimination bracket format. As for the ticket sales side of things, weekday ticket prices are comparable to the Shanghai Major price of $15, while the weekend ticket price of $40 is much higher than the previous two Majors, which offered tickets for $22 and $5.

Do you think having only single day tickets for sale is a good idea?
