Compendium owners with a level 1000 compendium will need to go through a registration process in order to claim their Aegis of Champions.
For the level 1000 compendium owners who wish to collect their exclusive replica of the Aegis of Champions, they will be required to sign up and provide their shipping and contact details on the links provided by Valve.
After going through the registration process, the compendium owners can expect to receive their Aegis in one of the two dispatch batches happening in September and October.
The features that set this year's Aegis apart from TI5's Aegis is the color of the Aegis and the design of the insignia. Last year's Aegis featured a "gold finished insignia" and had a golden hue due to its antique brass plating. On the other hand, this year's Aegis is a "bronze-plated alloy replica" looking mostly silver-colored with dark red designs, as for the insignia, the gold finish was changed to the Dota2 logo's red.
