XBOCT and Ghostik join Team Spirit

Team Spirit and Fantastic Five are the latest victims of the five month roster lock down rule, having made a change mid season.

The recent disappointing result from the Manila Major regional qualifiers for Team Spirit, culminating in the team failing to progress beyond the open qualifiers at the hands of Fantastic Five, resulted in both teams undergoing roster shuffles.

Fantastic Five’s carry and offlane players, Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich respectively Andrey 'Ghostik' Kadyk have been announced officially as out of the team yesterday via a vk post.

Fantastic Five roster is having significant changes. We part way with Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich and Andrew 'Ghostik' Kadyk. We want to thank these guys for their commitment and contribution into team's establishment and development. We wish them success in the eSports scene.”

At the same time Team Spirit let Ilya 'Illidan' Pivcaev and Andrey 'ALWAYSWANNAFLY' Bondarenko go from their roster. Today XBOCT and Ghostik were acquired by Team Spirit, which also brings role swaps inside the squad. XBOCT's  old friend and former Na’Vi team mate Gleb 'Funn1k' Lipatnikov, will start supporting him from position four, while Ghostick will occupy the offlane for Team Spirit.

We thank Andrew for his hard work in the team since the first day of its foundation. During these 5 months of our cooperation we managed to qualify for Shanghai Major, went to other 3 LANs in Minsk. Wuxi (China) and Kiev. We also managed to win our first trophy - ProDota Cup Europe. Such an experienced player as Ilya brought some new tactics and strategies to our gameplay. We actively rooted (and will keep doing it) for him at the top of MMR and in his hard-fought battles with Miracle. Guys, you made enormous impact into Team Spirit! Thanks for the games and we wish you good luck wherever you will go! ”

Regardless of the results that Team Spirit might achieve with the new roster they will not be eligible for any sort of invite at The International 6 as they broke the Spring Shuffle rules, meaning they will be forced to fight for their right to play in Seattle via open qualifiers.
