Universal Studios and Legendary have partnered with Epicenter to bring a huge surprise to the fans attending the LAN event at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.

Exclusive footage of the Warcraft movie, which is based on the Universe that Blizzard Entertainment created more than 10 years ago, will be presented at Epicenter by film director Duncan Jones and one other special guest.
There will also be a special Warcraft event during the Epicenter LAN where the guests will tell the story of the incredible work that has gone into adapting the Warcraft Universe into a movie.
Blizzard Entertainment and Legendary Pictures first announced their intentions of making a movie based on the Warcraft Universe in May 2006, but work on the script started two years later, in 2008. Since then the film crew has suffered a lot of changes. In 2012 Sam Raimi (film director for Spider man 1, 2 and 3) was announced by Blizzard as film director for Warcraft but a few months later he decided to withdraw from the project due to other commitments.
It was only at the end of January 2013 when Legendary Pictures finally announced Duncan Jones as the new director. In late September, beginning of October 2013 the casting process was finalized and Travis Fimmel (known for his portrayl of Ragnar Lothbrok in Vikings) was announced as the lead. The actual shooting for the movie was done from January to end of May 2014, with Vancouver serving as the main location for filming - and the post production took about twenty months.
Warcraft will have the world premiere on 10th of June 2016. One month ahead of that, from May 9th to 15th, part of the crew will be present at the Epicenter LAN event.
