The Spring Reshuffle came with its fair amount of big rosters change surprises and a couple of misunderstandings.
One of them would be announcing Virtus Pro with two squads for the upcoming competitive season when in fact Polarity has nothing to do with the Russian organization.
The two players removed from the VP roster during the Spring Reshuffle, Ilya 'Lil' Ilyuk and Alexander 'DkPhobos' Kucheria have joined forces and formed a completely new team, namely Polarity. Some of us assumed that this is a reiteration of VP Polar from 2015 but after clarifying the situation today with Lil we can now properly inform their fans that Polarity is a brand new and independent Dota 2 team.
