CDEC returns with three old faces ft. Rabbit, Yao and Super

For the upcoming season, CDEC has decided to undergo heavy changes in their roster, replacing all their players, with the exception of their support duo.

As the post-Shanghai Major transfer season comes closer to a close, CDEC has decided to change their roster. They will be replacing their three core players with veteran players Zhang 'Rabbit' Wang, Yao 'Yao' Zheng Zheng and Xie 'Super' Jun Hao. Remaining in the team is the support-duo, Liu 'Garder' Xin Zhou and Zhang 'Q' Yi.

Of the three cores released by CDEC, two have found a team, Sun 'Agressif' Zheng and XZ will be joining LGD and Newbee respectively.

CDEC's new roster: (1st to 5th position)
China Zhang 'Rabbit' Wang
China Xie 'Super' Jun Hao
China Yao 'Yao' Zheng
China Liu 'Garder' Xin Zhou
China Zhang 'Q' Yi

This roster change by CDEC marks the end of the lineup, which surprised the world at TI5, placing second at the event despite going in as the wildcard qualifiers. However, these results were not carried into the tournaments after TI5, with CDEC's performance going downhill, finishing 5th-6th place at the Frankfurt Major and 13th-16th place at the Shanghai Major.

As a side note, CDEC was the team that Liu 'Sylar' Jia Jun mentioned LGD's CEO RuRu wanted to transfer him into, however, the absence of his name from CDEC's and LGD's rosters most likely points to him not managing to reach an agreement with RuRu after their argument. Currently, not only is Sylar absent from LGD and CDEC's rosters, but also missing from the rosters of the large Chinese teams; this lines up with speculations that his contract with LGD is still causing him trouble.
