Funn1k departs from Team Empire

With the Dota Pit League Season 4 coming our way this weekend and continuous team shuffles occurring, Funn1k has announced his departure from Team Empire.

The well-known offlaner of Team Empire, Funn1k, has decided to end his time with Team Empire after he was offered a spot in a new team. Unfortunately for Gleb 'Funn1k' Lipatnikov, he was benched by Empire in the midst of their appearance at the Dota Pit main event. He had originally planned on staying with Empire until the conclusion of the tournament – however, an offer from Team Spirit popped up and after weighing up his options, Funn1k decided to join them in his regular offlane position.

With Funn1k joining the Team Spirit squad they are almost ready to name this their official roster going into the pre TI6 lock. But we will have to see what the next few days have in store. We will be able to see the new Team Spirit line-up in action later today as they take on Power Rangers in the WePlay Season 3. The following is the roster that they will be playing with:

Russia Ilya 'Illidan' Pivtsaev
Ukraine Bogdan 'Iceberg' Vasilenko
Ukraine Gleb 'Funn1k' Lipatnikov
Ukraine Arthur 'Goblak' Kostenko
Ukraine Andrew 'ALWAYSWANNAFLY' Bondarenko

We look forward to see how well Funn1k performs with his new team.
