Alexander 'XBOCT' Dashkevich will be traveling next week at the DotaPit Season 4 LAN playoffs with Virtus.Pro as a stand in for Airat 'Silent' Gaziev.
Virtus.Pro’s manager Georgy 'drAmer' Faleev announced today via twitter that Silent is dealing with health issues that prevent him to attend the LAN in Split, Croatia. Therefore, the recently turned free agent Alexander 'XBOCT ' Dashkevich will step in for this tournament, just as he did in December last year when he came as a stand in for Team Empire at Global eSports Cup for the same Airat 'Silent' Gaziev. Back then, it was announced that Silent has personal family problems that interfered with his trip with Team Empire at the Vilnius GEC Studio LAN playoffs.
Although Sergey 'G' Bragin made an easy to interpret twitt regarding Silent’s absence at DotaPit #4 VP’s manager is urging the community to not speculate on his team roster.
Dota Pit Season 4 LAN playoffs will be held next weekend, March 19-20 at the Spaladium Arena in Split, Croatia and both ex squads of XBOCT, Team Empire and Natus Vincere will be present at the event. The full schedule and the bracket for the LAN playoffs are still to be released so it’s still a mystery which one of these two teams will XBOCT face first.
