World Cyber Arena returns in 2016 with a new format and a larger prize pool.
The World Cyber Arena ticket popped on the Dota 2 store on the 9th of March and announced a new format for the event. It will now be seasonal with a total of three separate seasons. The events will culminate with a LAN in Yinchuan, China, where in December of 2016 all the winners of each season will meet and compete for a prize pool of $760, 000.
The digital ticket is now available for the season one, called “S1”, in the Dota 2 Store and can be found here. It will run you $2.99 or your regional equivalent. Keep in mind that you will have to get a new one for each season and probably for the LAN.
