Alliance replaced by Power Rangers at Starladder|i-League

Only a few hours are left before the thirteenth edition of Starladder will start and the first drama of the year emerges as Alliance got replaced in the tournament without notice.

Alliance’s attendance at Starladder|i-League seems to be denied by both weather conditions and tournament organizers. Today, January 12th, both Alliance and Fnatic were supposed to land in Minsk, Belarus but because of a snow storm all the flight options to Minsk have been delayed or cancelled.

The day started with both teams twitting about the situation, Alliance getting in a bit more troubles, while Fnatic arrived at some point during the day in Vilnius, Lithuania , then they boarded a plane to Moscow and safely landed in Minsk only two hours ago.

After hours spent in different airports, Alliance finally found a solution to get to Minsk via Wien, and here comes the interesting story. While they were in their plane to Austria, Starladder took the decision to replace them with Power Rangers with no game reschedule given.

It is worth a mention that Kelly is no longer their manager and she is not traveling with the boys for this tournament, but she is still totally devoted to the team, therefore she started to fight for Alliance’s rights to participate at the LAN event.

Twitter reactions to Starladder’s decision:

As no solution was found until now, Alliance decided to continue their trip to Minsk, while Kelly said she contacted Valve regarding this problem.

Alliance was scheduled to play tomorrow, January 13th, in the opening series of the tournament, at 09:00 CET versus Evil Geniuses.
