Giorgos ‘-SsaSpartan-’ Giannakopoulos and Omar ‘Madara-’ Dabasas have chosen to depart No Logic Gaming to form a new, all-Greek team: Ad Finem eSports.
No Logic Gaming have not had the most successful run in their short existence. Overall, they have only managed to win 34% of their games. They managed to put in solid performances against other teams in Europe, but a poor run of form in recent weeks has led Giorgos ‘-SsaSpartan-’ Giannakopoulos and carry player Omar 'Madara-' Dabasas to consider other options for their future. The result of these considerations has led to the formation of a new team, Ad Finem eSports. -SsaSpartan- has once again managed to assemble a line-up comprised entirely of quality Greek Dota 2 players.
The departure of both -SsaSpartan- and Madara- from No Logic Gaming throws the future of the team in doubt. When GosuGamers approached Milan ‘MiLAN.’ Kozamara for comment, he stated that No Logic Gaming would need to find replacements for both -SsaSpartan- and Madara, or contemplate the possibility of disbanding. Whilst No Logic Gaming is in uncertain waters, Ad Finem will soon take their first steps as a competitive team. The all-Greek team may not dominate the European Dota scene like single-country line-ups such as TI3 Alliance, but it will help to promote Dota 2 in the Mediterranean country.

Ad Finem is a Latin phrase, translating as ‘to the end’. To what end is not yet clear. It may indicate that the team will fight until the end of every single game. Perhaps the team will stick together to the bitter end, through thick and thin, no matter what their results. One thing that is clear – -SsaSpartan-, Madara-, and the rest of Ad Finem will be flying the Greek flag high in every game they play, right to the end.
