Dotabuff, a game statistic tracking service, has acquired TrackDota, a Dota2 live game tracker. From now on, the two services will be operating together, providing statistics and keeping track of live games.
Dotabuff, a website which is best known for their Dota2 game and player statistic service, has recently announced that they have acquired TrackDota, a Dota2 live professional game statistic provider. It seems that one of the first project the two teams from TrackDota and Dotabuff will be working on is the expansion of the statistics available on DotaTrack in preparation of The International 5.
The public seems to be highly in favor and optimistic of this merger, with majority of the readers of the announcement commenting that they found the acquisition to be good news. This optimism is probably well founded as the services provided by TrackDota acts as an extension of Dotabuff's current services and Dotabuff's large amounts of data on games played can enhance the current game statistics provided by TrackDota; possibilities include adding team win rates and popular items for specific heroes.
