Ahmad 'ADTR' Syazwan was recently announced to be dropped from Invasion after their failure to receive an invitation for the TI5 SEA qualifiers.
Long time Invasion eSports player Ahmad 'ADTR' Syazwan has been dropped from the official roster of Invasion eSports, ADTR has been on the team since April 2014, making him the longest standing player until his departure. The former captain and support player the team; his future is still unknown as no further information about his departure has been provided except for his exit statement in which he did not explicitly state anything about future plans.
ADTR's statement:
'It's been a year and half since I joined under Invasion eSports, and today is the day my journey end. I would like to personally thank Andy Soong for the great opportunity and incredible journey I ever had under it.'
This announcement comes shortly after the unveiling of The International 5's SEA qualifier invites which excluded Invasion. The exclusion of Invasion could be due to their weak performance they put up after Johnny 'Johnny' Lee and Fadil 'Kecikimba' bin Mud Raziff's departure. But prior to their departure, Invasion was one of the strongest teams in the region. Not being included in the TI5 qualifiers was most likely a hard blow for the team who have been active in most tournaments over the last year. The team suffered another hard blow in late 2014 where they had to choose between attending MPGL and Synergy League where Invasion qualified for both. It would have been the first LAN for the team and unfortunately they picked Synergy League which later decided to cancel the event. In an interview with Mineski from February, ADTR called it "the saddest memory of his e-sport career".
Invasion's recent results include loses to teams like Mineski (0-2) and Can't Say Wips (1-2), two teams whose global rankings on Gosurankings is 32 and 138.
