Team Tinker earns the ticket to i-League #3 LAN playoffs

Earning their first qualification to an international LAN this year, Team Tinker crushes Summoner's Rift in the finals of the i-League #3 American qualifiers and secures their tickets to Shanghai, China for the LAN event on the 19th of May.

Team Tinker has qualified for the i-League #3 LAN finals after stomping their way through the American qualifiers, not dropping a single game, with this victory they will be making their way to Shanghai, China. They will be joining LGD and Alliance in the list of invitees for this tournament which will pit them against each other for the base prize pool of $320 000.

This result marks the team's constant improvements from the Dec 2014- Feb 2015 period which saw their win rate not go above 25% despite playing a total of 21 official games; during that time, the team struggled to stick with a constant roster with four players changes in that period. However, this all-star team's performance solidified in March, coinciding with the time where they brought in Dominik 'Black^' Reitmeier. The month of March saw their win rate spike to 61%, an impressive improvement; it seems they have rode this momentum to qualify for this LAN event.

The two games saw similar drafts from Team Tinker, putting Black^ on hard carries for both games. Game 1 featured his Anti-Mage and game 2 his Morphling; Team Tinker won both games.

In the two games played out, Summoner's Rift player Braxton 'Brax' Paulson battled against network issues, having needed his team pause the game for a long period of time. This exhausted all their pause time and the team followed to mass disconnect without a gg when Team Tinker decided that they would no longer allow pauses in the game. In game 2, Brax did not play and Brain 'Fluffnstuff' Lee stood in.

This connection issue relating to Brax and the mass disconnection in game one has stirred up quite a bit of drama and controversy, with many suspicious that Brax might have had been DDOS'ed. However, Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho posted on his twitter that Brax wsa not DDOS'ed and that the only issue he was facing was an unstable network connection which he was known to have.
