Natus Vincere's recent roster changes seem set to continue with the announcement that current captain Goblak has been dropped from the team and former-Power Rangers support player SoNNeikO will be temporarily standing in.
The current roster changes sweeping the CIS region have now hit Natus Vincere for a second time following the departure of current captain and drafter Artur 'Goblak' Kostenko. According to an announcement on the organizations official website, the teams recent lack of form has forced the management to look for solutions in an attempt to return the team to its former glory. The manager of the team Andrew 'kimi' Kwasnewski released this statement, "First of all, I’d like to express gratitude to Arthur for excellent performance, for great skills of a captain and a drafter he has demonstrated. We’ve lived through many things together during a short period of time. We had bright victories and painful losses. I don’t know the ideas Arthur is fond of now, but I am sure that he’ll achieve them because he is the Professional!”
The Ukrainian team began tinkering with their roster back on February 13th after the shock announcement that long time offlaner Gleb 'Funn1k' Lipatnikov was departing the team. After almost a month of consideration Natus Vincere eventually made the decision to bring in Alexander 'DkPhobos' Kucheria from ASUS.Polar. However their recent results have seen the team finish fourth at the Major All Stars tournament in Malaysia after defeats to Team Empire and Ninjas in Pyjamas and a horror show in the opening round of qualification for StarLadder Season 12. The team failed to claim a place in the second stage of the qualifier to Team Empire and GOOMBA Gaming after only picking up a single victory from an available three.
The team will now compete with Akbar 'SoNNeikO' Butaev as their temporary fifth member, with the official five man lineup expected to be announced within the next two weeks. SoNNeikO left Belarusian team Power Rangers on March 20th following last months departure of Maxim 'Shachlo' Abramovskikh from the team and the loss of their main sponsor. It has not been announced who will take the role of captain within the current roster.
