Early StarLadder exit for Na`Vi

Group 1B ends with surprising results as Goomba proceeds alongside Empire instead of Natus Vincere who are eliminated from the tournament. Half of the first European group stage is concluded, next group starts on Friday.

As expected of Empire, they dominated the group, with a flawless record. However, the results of the other teams were not quite as predictable. The group ended with a three way tie between Goomba, Na'Vi and Basically Unknown; but due to the better game score of Goomba compared to the rest, they were allowed to advance. Natus Vincere claims third place and still keep their spot for next time but are unfortunately eliminated already in the current season.

These results could come as a giant blow towards Na'Vi's motivation as the team of veteran players have failed once again to qualify for StarLadder, losing out to a team who is considered tier two by most. It should be said though that they have been using stand-ins lately, even after acquiring DkPhobos as their fifth player.

After the just concluded group B, StarLadder goes on a short break for a few days before launching group C on Friday featuring Cloud9, Hellraisers, Vega and ScaryFace.
