After eliminating MVP.Hotsix, MVP.Phoenix advance to the qualifiers finals of the The Summit 3 where they will face the same opponents who knocked them into the losers bracket, Rave. Winner qualifies for the main event.
Already a modern classic SEA match up, the Korean giants face off against the Filipino giants and this time around, it is going to be in a best of five series. The nature of a best of five will push both teams to their limits as they try to one up each other in this usually close match up. However the opposite could be true if MVP.Phoenix repeats their performance against Rave earlier in the bracket where they were crushed 2-0.
Although the finalists for this qualifier were expected, how deep the other teams made it in this bracket came as a surprise. A few of the surprises are the early elimination of Invasion who seems lost after losing two of their players and the stellar performances by both MVP.Hot6ix and Mineski who made it deep into the tournament. On a side note, it seems that this qualifiers has portrayed where the SEA teams are now, both in terms of skill and their potential.
