What has been whispered for several days has now been confirmed, as NewBee's former carry and TI4 champion Chen 'Hao' Zhihao has officially joined ViCi Gaming. Hao will replace Dominik 'BlacK^' Reitmeier, who was removed from the roster after DAC.
After the recent departure of Dominik 'BlacK^' Reitmeier from ViCi Gaming, the rumours about his replacement emerged one after another. However, all the speculations are now coming to an end, as a post by VG's manager IamHunter suggests that they have acquired the experienced carry Chen 'Hao' Zhihao from NewBee. Hao was considered the ideal replacement for BlacK^ by the community and the team itself, as expressed by his new teammate Daryl 'iceiceice' Koh in his recent AMA. The transfer completes ViCi Gaming's impressive roster, and the expectations are certainly high for the five superstar players.
As for Hao's former club NewBee, the carry position will now have to be filled by either a new player or one of the team's existing members. Since the latest rumours want iG's former offlaner Lin 'June' Shiyang to have joined the team, it seems that Wang 'Rabbit' Zhang will have to switch to the carry role he played back in LGD. It should be reminded that Rabbit was considered the primary candidate for departure after his mediocre performance at DAC, but it seems that the club is willing to give him another chance to prove his worth in a more familiar position.
