Out of the original eight teams, four teams remain now. The remaining teams are Void Boy, Team Tinker, Boreal and paiN Gaming, out of these four teams, only two will remain and proceed to phase two after tomorrow's matches.
In these set of results, the most surprising is the early elimination of Summers' Rift due to their lineup, which consisted of a majority of veteran players. Adding to the surprise is that they were eliminated 2-0 by Void Boy, an upcoming team. Judging by this upset, it seems that Void Boy's match against Team Tinker might go to an extremely close third game if they carry this performance forwards.
The other semi finalist match is Boreal Esports vs paiN Gaming, according to the GosuRankings, Boreal Esports are the favorites, sitting at #64 on the table as compared to the #111 of paiN Gaming. But given the volatility of performance for tier two teams, the series is not impossible for paiN Gaming to take.
