DAC Europe: Hellraisers directly qualifies for the main event

The European qualifier for the DAC has concluded and after a thrilling finals, Hellraisers is set to represent Europe at the main stage in Shanghai. Power Rangers and Natus Vincere will have their chance in the wildcard playoffs.

After three days, the European qualifier for the Dota 2 Asia Championships comes to an end. Hellraisers have climbed to the top and beat Power Rangers 3-2 in the finals to secure themselves a fixed position in the main stage of the DAC event. Power Rangers and Natus Vincere will still head to China to play in the wildcard playoffs, in which two more slots are up for grabs.

Today's first match saw PR encounter Na'Vi. Both teams were in good shape and tried their best to take the win. Na'Vi relied on Dendi's Magnus throughout the whole series but especially in the third game he was unable to get into a comfortable situation for a game winning RP. Power Rangers overall coordinated better and after a loss in game 2 came up ahead in game 3.

The grand finals began with a game 1 advantage for Hellraisers as they came through the upper bracket. They convincingly took the 2nd game as well, but Power Rangers showed that they were no pushovers and took two games off of HellRaisers. The Russians were one game away of losing their spot, but the 5th and last game was a rather one-sided endeavour in their favor.
