i-League: C9 ban lifted, Lajons to attend

The i-League drama surrounding C9's withdrawal has come to an end as ImbaTV has issued an apology in which they also lift Cloud9's ban for the third season. At the same time, Lajons have secured themselves their visas to attend the LAN finals.

ImbaTV, the organizer behind i-League, has publicly apologized for any miscommunications regarding the prizepool. Apparently, the initial $300,000 that were listed as the 2nd season's prizepool was meant as a reference to know which scale to judge the 2nd season by and the number was taken from the first season. Their initial ban towards Cloud 9 for the third season has been revoked as well.

Another piece of good news for i-League is the fact that a proper replacement for C9 has been found. Lajons will be going in their stead as they managed to secure last minute visas. The Swedes came in 2nd in the European qualifier against HellRaisers, who have also withdrawn, but will be replaced with a Chinese team.

Unfortunately for i-League though, retirees OldBoy have already withdrawn as well and Big God is likely to pull out too. Both teams were/are participating in the semi pro qualifier and were amongst favorites to qualify for the event.
