StarLadder XI round-up: Team Secret in the lead, HellRaisers trails closely behind

Secret Team at ESL One New York, taken from SimbaaaDota's twitter.

Secret Team is in the lead for StarLadder XI qualifiers, an expected result. What is unexpected is the team following closely behind them, HellRaisers, who are two wins away from being first.

This is the half way mark for the StarLadder XI European qualifers where the top four teams will qualify for the lan finals. So far both HellRaisers and Secret Team are firmly in the lead; being two wins ahead of the third and fourth place teams who are tied at seven wins each. At the bottom of the bracket are xGame.KZ, 4 Anchors and NiP.ua; both NiP.ua and xGame.KZ have no way of achieving top four with their current results, as for 4 Anchors, they will require at least six wins out of their eight remaining games to tie with the current third and fourth teams. Which means that all 4 Anchors can do is play the best they can and hope that they manage to take all eight of their remaining games for the best chances to qualify.

Round Robins
Matches Completed: 79/120
Teams Confirmed: TBD
Teams Eliminated: NiP.ua, xGame.Kz
, Goomba Gaming, Alliance

Virtus Pro.Polar is the team who has played the least game, making their performance one of the biggest deciding factors in who proceeds to the lan finals. Looking at thier current reuslt of 5-1, news is not good for teams lower down in the bracket. If they manage to keep this superb performance, the teams with weaker results like Empire and 4 Anchors will be eliminated.

Note worthy results:

Lajons have been putting on a strong performance in this round robins, consistantly taking games of teams who are placed higher than them in the group such as VP.Polar and Na'Vi. If they manage to keep this strong performance going, they should have no trouble qualifying as majority of their remaining games will be against teams that have have shown weaker performances in the round robin.
