With three back to back wins, last of which being a 3-0 wipe against VP Polar, Team Empire has secured a ticket for the D2L LAN finals at Las Vegas.

Team Empire emerged as the second qualifier from the West Region after they crushed Virtus-Pro.Polar in the finals of the bubble race. Empire had finished fourth in the round-robin stage which meant that they had to win three matches in a row to qualify for the finals. Empire did not fail to impress taking all the three games without dropping a single match. They beat VP.Polar in the Best-of-5 finals, the same team they beat in the Esportal Winter 2014 qualifier finals recently.
