The Malaysian LAN tournament Selangor Cyber Games will take place from December 13th through 14th, opening with an open offline qualifier that leads to the tournament's finals. The winner of the qualifier will join some of the strongest teams in the country in the battle for the ~$3000 first place prize.
The local government of Malaysia's Selangor province will host a LAN tournament this December, featuring four popular eSport game titles - DotA2, League of Legends, CS:GO and FIFA15. The DotA2 portion of the tournament will be divided in two sections, the amateur open qualifiers and the professional "Grand Finals". The two strongest teams of the open qualifiers will advance to the main stage, where they will meet eight professional teams from the country. The event is scheduled to take place from December 13th to 14th at Encorp Strand Mall, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
The amateur tournament is open for all Malaysians between age 16 to 35, and teams that wish to register can do so here. The eight participants of the main event have already been invited.
