With the sights set on the D2CL EU Qualifiers, only one match remains and it could mean the difference between a two or three-way tie.

Previously, Team Empire, Cloud9 and Team Tinker have already secured positions to the LAN Finals. Now, because of the disqualification of Alliance and the removal of the Chinese portion of the D2CL, Empire get a direct invite to the playoffs and the subsequent four scoring behind them will be moving on.

Now, with Virtus.Pro vs. Na'Vi and the outcome of which can end in one of three ways;

  1. Na'Vi 2-0 Virtus.Pro - Tie between Fnatic and Power Rangers.
    • This will have Na'Vi moving on.

  2. Na'Vi 1-1 Virtus.Pro - Tie between Virtus.Pro, Power Rangers and Fnatic.
    • This will have Na'vi moving on.

  3. Na'Vi 0-2 Virtus.Pro - Tie between Na'Vi, Power Rangers and Fnatic.
    • This will be Virtus.Pro moving on.

According to the offical ruling (stated below) Penalty Points will play a factor in the standings and could eventually decide the tiebreaker situation. Gosugamers.net have reached out to the D2CL admins for an official statement.

UPDATE:

With Virtus.Pro dropping out, it gives Na'Vi a 2-0 which moves them on. This will create a tie between Fnatic and Power Rangers for the last position for the LAN finals.
