YardRed Festival kicks off today

The YardRed tournament features 16 Western teams that will fight in a double-elimination bracket for $5,000. In addition, ticket sales will go to the Red Cross in Saint Petersburg to help out victims from the conflict in Ukraine. 

Today, the YardRed Festival kicks off and it features 16 teams from the West, with top teams such as VP.Polar and Power Rangers competing for a prize money of $5,000. The main attraction of the tournament however is not the prize money but rather the fact that all ticket sales will be donated to the Red Cross in Saint Petersburg to help out victims from the conflict in Ukraine.

It is the organizer's third event with the YardOrange and YardWhite festival being the first two installements. The YardRed installement however is the first one to donate money to charity. 

The tournament format is a simple double elimination playoff bracket,with all matches being a best-of-three. Yard Team, sqreen's squad, mYinsanity and ANT.Victor all qualified for this event with the other teams receiving direct invites. The first match of the tournament will see hehe united take on Denial.eu at 17.30 CEST. Coverage will be provided by HeflaTV in English and Yard's inhouse casters in Russian on esfxtv.com.
