After an impressive three game sweep against Pokerface in the finals, MVP Phoenix are the Division 1 champions of the Korea Dota 2 League Season 3.
Now that things have come to an end for the Korea Dota 2 League Season 3, congratulations are in order for this year's winners MVP Phoenix. Not one looking to leave things up in the air, MVP Phoenix swept Pokerface out of the finals with three very solid matches from Korean team. With their win here, Phoenix take home their second consecutive win in the Korea Dota 2 League.
Probably one of the the most striking things to note from Phoenix's matches in today's finals is that they played entirely different heroes in each match, except FoREv who played Omniknight in their first and third game. This flexibility in a team can lead to some highly entertaining matches, as noted by their third and final match where Qo played a Riki that shadowed the supports of Pokerface for nearly the entirety of the match.
With the way each team has played this season, Zephyr will be be dropping to Division 2 and MVP.hot6 will be advancing to Division 1. The rest of the teams will stay within their current Divisions.
