VP Polar, Na'Vi, Team Empire and LGD to clash in EMC LAN finals

The Excellent Moscow Cup has finished its online groupstage and four teams are set to travel to Moscow on Sept 26th. Virtus.pro Polar, Natus Vincere, Team Empire and LGD Gaming will face off against each other at Forum Hall.

After about three weeks, the European online stage for the Exellent Moscow Cup has concluded and three teams stand at the top of the round-robin groupstage. Virtus.pro Polar, Natus Vincere and Team Empire are the teams that will travel to Forum Hall, Moscow. It will be a remake of the recently held Game Show League at Dreamhack Moscow that also saw these teams compete. That tournament saw NVMI, now Virtus.pro Polar, emerge victorious.

Instead of Virtus.pro though, the 4th team to finish this line-up in the Excellent Moscow Cup will be a Chinese team. The tournament held a seperate Chinese qualifier which saw four teams compete in a double elimination bracket. Newbee won the qualifiers quite convincingly, but passport issues caused the TI4 champion to withdraw from the tournament. LGD Gaming will participate instead.

The exact format of the LAN finals has yet to be announced.

Coverage will be provided by Pimpmuckl on hitbox.tv.
