The mysterious "new talents" have been revealed via ESL's twitter account! Ted 'PyrionFlax' Forsyth has been appointed to the analysts' desk, while Marcus 'djWHEAT' Graham is set to host the event alongside Redeye. Finally, Jacob 'SirActionSlacks' is the lucky man assigned to interview the event's personalities alongside Soe.
A recent update on the ESL One New York's Facebook page has revealed details on which DotA 2 personalities were selected to host and cast the tournament's main event.
An image posted on the ESL One New York's Facebook event page has revealed details on who will be doing the hosting, analysis and casting of the main LAN event set to be held at the Madison Square Garden's Theater.
In the aforementioned post, it was revealed that the casting of the main event's games were to be handled by Toby 'Tobiwan' Dawson, Austin 'Capitalist' Walsh, Ben 'Merlini' Wu, and Troels 'SyndereN' Nielsen.
As for the analysts' desk, Jacob 'Maelk' Toft-Anderson, as well as Sebastien '7ckngMad' Debs were set to provide in-depth game knowledge and analysis on the picks, bans, and strategies available to the teams participating in the $100,000+ prizepool ESL One NY's LAN finals.
Paul 'ReDeYe' Chaloner was set to host the event, whereas Soe 'Soe' Gschwind was assigned with the interviews.
Additionally, the announcement also teased out three "new talents" with one set to occupy a seat at the analysts' desk, another set to host alongside Redeye, and one lucky talent assigned to interview the DotA 2 personalities and players involved alongside Soe.
It may be worth noting that this is the same lineup of casters and analysts that already hosted the ESL One in Frankfurt, with the exception of Bruno 'Bruno' Carlucci.
In an update on the ESL One NY's qualifiers, Vici Gaming secured their spot at the LAN Finals, effectively crushing TI4 Champions Newbee with a devastating 3-0 win at the best-of-five finals for the Chinese qualifiers.
The ESL One NY's main LAN event is set to be held on Oct. 9-10 at the Madison Square Garden Theater. DotaTV tickets are available here.
