SEA Dota will see its first elimination bracket since TI4 beginning today, 15 August, with 8 teams competing in the fourth and final edition of the WD Dota 2 Pro Series. The tournament has $1,500 USD up for grabs this time around.
The fourth edition of the WD Dota 2 Pro Series sees the top 8 teams in South-East Asia going up against each other in a single elimination bracket to claim the top prize of USD$1,500. The tournament will be played out in best of 3s, with a best of 5 Grand Final to determine who reigns supreme in SEA. The first round will be played from 15 to 19 August, with one Bo3 everyday. The matches will start at 2200 SGT everyday, with exception of the Invasion vs Zephyr match on 16 August, which will start at 2000 SGT.
Of the 8 teams, two teams from the previous editions - RRQ and Orange - have disbanded and thus replaced by Click n Search (CnS) and Invasion respectively. Both CnS and Invasion are up and coming teams in the SEA region, both scoring good results against the other teams in previous matchups.
On the other hand, Titan will be looking forward to defend their title in this competition, having won all three of the previous editions of the WD Pro Series. However, this last edition's Grand Prize is equal to the prizes of the last three series, and Titan will definitely be looking forward to make a clean sweep of the bracket again.
