WPC-ACE pre-playoffs over, NewBee and DK grab the best seedings

The second day of World Professional Classic pre-playoffs has come to an end with Team DK and NewBee gaining the most out of the upper bracket in terms of bracket seedings. No teams were eliminated during the pre-playoffs stage.

The finals bracket seedings for the second season of World Professional Classic tournament, also known as WPC-ACE has been determined. Leading at the helm on day 2 is none other than NewBee, who have steered through their group with a clean score of 3:0 including an impressive victory over Team DK in under 18 minutes.

NewBee now stand at an impressive overhaul of winning 14 consecutive matches including the MarsTV Dota 2 League title, wherein they went undefeated throughout the tournament. They will be up against Dream Time tomorrow in the play-offs and have the odds highly stacked in their favour.

On the other end, Team DK secures a second finish with a score of 2:1; the only loss coming against NewBee. Despite the struggle, DK have managed to push through and will go up against Titan. Titan is the only SEA team that has qualified for the play-offs and the Malaysians are looking forward to prove a point.

Vici Gaming has performed rather poorly coming into the pre-playoffs since the only victory they registered was against Cloud 9 in a rather one sided game. They also performed worse versus DK wherein, rOtk and Sylar ended up with a score of 0-8 and 0-4, respectively. Tomorrow, VG will be pitted up against Alliance in a much anticipated match-up between the giants of East and West.

Meanwhile, Cloud 9 has performed below expectations as they end the day without registering a single win under their name, and will face Invictus Gaming in the play-offs scheduled to begin tomorrow.

The play-offs are scheduled to begin tomorrow at 08.00 CEST with NewBee and DT.NGC taking the first quarter in the single elimination best-of-three format followed by iG and C9 at 11.45 CEST. The second quarter will be played on May 29th with Team DK and Titan scheduled to play first.
