The prize pool of The International has now gone past the tenth stretch goal which is marked at $4,500,000. A 80~ MB patch was also applied, and it saw the delivery of the second and third stretch goal rewards.
The prize pool of The International 4 has now reached upwards of $4,500,000, meaning that the community has already contributed an increase of almost three million dollars. Based on the increment being 25% of the sales of Compendium and points, it implies that nearly 12 milllon dollars were already exhausted in those purchases.
With that, the tenth stretch goal has been attained. The reward for reaching this mark is a new music pack for Dota 2. Dota 2's ancestor, the Warcraft III-mod map DotA, can be remembered as having alternate music files from its engine.
The second and third Compendium rewards have been delivered in the 80~ MB to the main client earlier today. The item Portfolio of Heroes Triumphant was distributed, and Compendium holders get a specific number corresponding to the Compendium's level. Each pack contains three loading screens, and there are a total of 15 different ones.
Users can now also vote for the hero they want to have an Arcana item via the Compendium. The heroes are divided into 16 groups, and the winner of the groups will then be competing in a 'single-elimination voting deathmatch' to determine the winning hero.
The loading screens and the genuine items are not released yet. There was another patch today that seemed to add a number of genuine items in the item schema.
The next stretch goal is set when the prize pool reaches $5,000,000, and its something a lot of fans are looking forward to. If this is reached, a 1v1 mid-only matchmaking game mode will be made available to all players.
