Smash leaves Revenge Esports

Uprising star in the Peruvian community, Bryan Freddy 'Smash' Sina, has announced his departure from Revenge Esports a few hours after his team got replaced in The International 2014 qualifiers.

Few hours earlier, it was announced that Revenge Esports and Osiris Gaming will no longer participate in the upcoming qualifiers for The International 2014 and have been replaced by Isurus and Shadows of the Past, respectively. Now, the star mid player of Revenge Esports, Bryan Freddy 'Smash' Sina, has announced his departure from the team citing prioritization of his competitive gaming career.

In his statement, Bryan expresses grief on not being able to participate in the upcoming TI4 qualifiers; which has always been his dream as a Dota 2 player. He further mentions that his decision to step back was due to the recent decisions taken by his team collectively, although, he doesn't go into any details. In the end, he expresses his gratitude and his willingness to fight until the next International.

It took me a while to give an opinion about all the things that have happened related to our disqualification from the TI4 Qualifiers. It causes me a lot of sadness and grief not being able to be present and fight for something that I have been fighting day after day for more than a year.

I want that all of you that follow me and support me with your comments, know that this decisión affects both of you and me, since this has been, is and will be my dream as a Dota 2 player. Due to all the actions that has been taken by the team, today I have decided to take a step back and stop being part of Revenge eSports

It has been an unforgettable experience having played along with my friends during all this time, savoring victories, learning from our defeats and especially strengthening those friendship bonds that have kept us together until now. However, it has reached a point in which I have to prioritize my career as a profesional gamer that I am trying to be.

I want to finish this announcement letting all of you know that I will stay in the Dota 2 scene, maybe not with Revenge but I will stay and fight to be present in the next International.

Thank you very much for all the support, I don’t use to say this so often but I love and appreciate all of you.

In other revelation, Revenge Esports gave a statement citing that the decision to withdraw was made under the table without informing the management in a post on their Facebook page. Meanwhile, ixmike88 comes to their rescue stating that Revenge indeed withdrew voluntarily from the qualifiers and were not booted.
