MSI Beat It GosuCup Asia: Arrow to face Scythe in Winner Bracket finals

The second day of MSI Beat It GosuCup Asia has come to a conclusive end with Arrow Gaming and Scythe going into the winner bracket finals.

Day 2 of MSI Beat It GosuCup Asia started with two of the Chinese invites, LGD and NewBee pulling out of the tournament at last minute due to server issues. Although LGD were replaced by Jio 'Jeyo' Madayag's team Rave, an apt replacement couldn't be found for NewBee as they pulled out a few minutes before the start of Day 2.

Moving on, we now have our final four teams going into stage III scheduled to begin tomorrow at 3.00 pm SGT between New Element and Titan, who both were overwhelmed by Scythe and Arrow Gaming respectively. Today's highlight match was between Scythe and New Element, the lone Chinese survivor in this event.

Despite a good start into the game, New Element were unable to capitalise on their advantage long enough for Meracle's Naga Siren to get heavily farmed up and bounce back from a huge deficit, as he always does with this hero and carried his team to victory.

Although, NE's game spirit has been high during the entirety of GosuCup alongside Speed Gaming.cn and LGD.CDEC, who have played on SEA servers despite of the variety of lag and spikes caused to them due to poor internet connection.

Tomorrow, Titan will face New Element in a best-of-one lower bracket match, wherein the loser will be eliminated from the tournament and walk away empty handed, meanwhile, the winner will proceed to lower bracket round 2 and await their opponent between Arrow and Scythe.

*Note: Only Lower Bracket round 1 will be a best-of-one after which the games will be held in a best-of-three format until the event concludes.
