Cloud9 opts out of The Summit's American qualifiers

Cloud9 has recently announced that they will no longer be attending The Summit's American qualifiers as Bone7 was unable to obtain a US visa in time. They will be replaced by Venezuelan-American team No Earthspirit.

Cloud 9 will not be attending the upcoming American qualifier for the Summit. The reason for this is because one of their players, Pittner 'bone7' Armand, is still not able to secure his visa.

Replacing Cloud9 is No Earthspirit, a team with a Venezuelan captain and American members. They will join the eight-team American qualifiers for the Summit, from which two teams will advance into the main event. It will start tomorrow with a match between Team Liquid and CNB.br.

The Summit, which will be held on a LAN setting in Los Angeles, USA, will feature teams from all over the world competing for a total $50,000 prize pool. Aside from the top two teams of the American qualifiers, it will also feature the top finisher from the European and Asian qualifiers and the two invited teams in DK and Natus Vincere.
