WPC-ACE League: Week four update

Week four of the WPC-ACE League has just concluded today, with teams NewBee and Invictus Gaming emerging at the top of the cumulative scoreboards.

This week sees iG and NewBee as the top point earners. NewBee has jumped to take the pole position with six points accumulated this week, including a 2-0 win against team DK. Invictus Gaming also had a good week as they gained four points after two victories, pushing them to fourth place despite having only played five games.

Team DK so far has the least played matches, aside from Orange, with four total series played. They will be playing four matches next week though. Undoubtedly, the matches to look out for next week will be Team DK against iG, at 1st May, 14:00 CET, and 2nd May, 14:00 CET as Team DK matches up against Vici Gaming, who holds the second spot in the leaderboards.

Every best-of-two series won by a team in the group stage will net them 2 points, while a draw will net both teams one point each. Only the top six of the twelve teams will proceed to the pre-playoffs, wherein they will be joined by the western teams Cloud 9 and Alliance.
