Alliance and RoX.KIS qualify for StarSeries LAN finals, Cloud9 eliminated

The round robin season of StarSeries IX Europe division saw Alliance, Cloud9 and RoX.KIS pit against each other in a three way tie-breaker, in a bid to grab the remaining final play-off spots.

StarLadderTV StarSeries IX Europe division has officially concluded as Alliance and RoX.KIS have qualified for the LAN finals to be held in Kiev, Ukraine later this month. However, the road was not an easy one since 3 teams had swords hanging above their neck in a do-or-die situation.

Alliance, Cloud9 and RoX.KIS were tied at 33 points each and to determine the teams qualifying for the LAN playoffs, SLTV held a three way tie-breaker. Alliance managed to pull through with a clean score of 2-0, whilst a tough competition ensued upon RoX.KIS and Cloud9, who were one step away from being eliminated from the tournament.

Having lost both of their games to Alliance and RoX.KIS, EternalEnvy and co.'s StarSeries journey has come to an end. In the meantime, Alliance and RoX.KIS will join Natus Vincere and Team Empire for the LAN finals from Europe.
