The American Dota League Season two tickets are now on sale, available for purchase on the steam store. EG and Cloud9, due to overbooking issues, will no longer be able to attend the event.
The American Dota League will be returning this April with its second season. It will feature some of the brightest talents of the North American DotA2 scene, battling over the $10,000 prize pool. The American Dota League Season two tickets have gone on sale and may be purchased here.
Earlier today, Charlie 'Monolith' Yang, manager of both EG and Cloud9, released the following statement on the situation :
"Due to our schedule and how hectic spring is, neither C9 nor EG will be able to participate in this season of American Dota League. We would have really liked to participate and support the growning North American scene but our absences mean another talented team gets time in the limelight. There are a lot of talented players featured and I hope everyone takes notice; this is a staging ground for premiere talent in America."
With EG and Cloud9 out of the picture, the new groups will be as follows:

The group stage will have a round robin format, and teams in Group A and B will play best of three and best of two matches respectively. The top four teams from each group will move on to a single elimination best of three bracket, meaning all of Group A will qualify for the playoffs; however, their placement will determine whom they'll face. The Grand Finals will be a best of five.

Live broadcasting of the games will be provided on TwitchTV in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian. A DotaTV ticket will also be available in the store. For this season, American Dota League will be partnered with SteelSeries, and there will be several gear giveaways throughout the season through the ADL channels and social media pages.
