Natus Vincere and Fnatic to face off in Captain's Draft Invitational finals

After five gruelling games against Alliance, Fnatic emerges victorious, pitting them against Natus Vincere in the Grand Finals of DotaCinema's Captain's Draft Invitational.

Dota 2's first ever Captain's Draft tournament is soon coming to a close with both the teams participating in the grand finals finally confirmed. While Natus Vincere had a relatively easy run beating Sigma.Int 3-0, Fnatic had to fight their way through all five games of the Best-of-5 semis ending with a surprise pickup of Notail's signature Meepo and an Ogre Magi on H4nn1, beating Alliance 3-2.

Both teams will now be competing for the first place, to win 50% of the total prizepool (USD20,000 + USD1.25 of each sold ticket) with second place taking home only 25% of the total prizepool and third/fourth place both taking home 12.5% each. This means that even though both Sigma and Alliance did not make it to the grand finals, they would still bring home some cash.

While the date and time for the finals has yet to be confirmed, we can expect the matches of the grand finals to be a high-octane match as both teams are known for their creativity, strong teamwork and high skill. Moreover Fnatic are one of the few European teams to be able to stand their ground against the Ukrainian powerhouse, managing to take a few games off Natus Vincere throughout their career.

UPDATE: The grand final wil be played tomorrow at 14 CEST (08 EDT, 20 SGT) and will be casted by Synderen and Sunsfan from Dota Cinema on MLG.tv.
