All but one of the eight playoff slots are finalized as the ACG best-of-the-best SEA invitational finishes its second playday. The standings from last week remains unchanged, and only four game remains on the group stage.
The second playday followed a similar pattern from last week's: two forfeits, a postponed game and four out of all the games finishing on a 2-1 score. What is new, however, is that upsets happened this week. RRQ surprised the recent winner of the AOC Pro Cup, Orange Esports, by taking a emphatic 2-0 victory to secure their ticket to the playoffs. On a minor upset, Indonesian team Zero Latitude defeated Thai team Everlast Gaming on the score of 2-0 as well.
All the games in group A and B are already finished, while there are still two games apiece left for Group C and D. Despite that, the final seed of the playoff bound teams for groups A-C has already been determined, as Scythe will have the advantage on RRQ having earned a win over the other, in the event the Singaporean team loses their final match 0-2.
The second playoff seed for Group D is still in contest, however. With Arrow gaming securing a top seed, a tie is still possible for the second slot. There are several scenarios, many of which will stem only if Mineski loses. The pressure is on Everlast's hands, as the only way for them to have a chance of advancing is a 2-0 win on their final match.

- Mineski loses against Everlast 1-2, and Zero Latitude wins against Vie Genuis 2-0= Mineski and zL face each other on a tiebreak

- Mineski loses against Everlast 0-2, and Zero Latitude wins against Vie Genuis 2-0= Everlast and zL face each other on a tiebreak
- Mineski loses against Everlast 0-2, and Zero Latitude fails to win 2:0 against Genius = Everlast advances
The remaining four games are scheduled next Saturday, 15 March, at 04:00 CET (11:00 SGT)
The winning team of this tournament will walk away with $2,000, while the runner-up and third placer will receive $1,000 and $500 respectively. Merchandise will also be given away, among of which are Dota 2 HeroClix Starter sets for all participants.
