Day 3 of the Sina Cup sees defending champions Vici Gaming progressing straight to the upper bracket final for a second time in a row while DreamTime lives to fight another day.
Game 1: VG.cn vs LGD

Picking a very strong pushing and ganking lineup, Vici Gaming managed to snag both the Ancient Apparition and Shadow Shaman as well as the Batrider while LGD opted to use the power of Wisp's ultimate to try and catch some easy relocate kills. The tri lane combo of Shadow Shaman, Ancient Apparition and Lycan saw first blood being spilt at the 3 minute mark as Yao's Centaur became shackled and frozen up before becoming dog food to Sylar's Lycan as he took the last swipe to secure the kill. This quickly transitioned into a push at the Radiant tier one tower, which quickly melted down under the pushing power of VG's lineup.
With complete control over the map, Lycan took down Roshan easily at the 11 minute mark with the help of the Serpent Wards and Medallion. Desperate to regain some control over the game, LGD first attempted to use the Wisp relocate to catch the Alchemist off guard at the dire ancient. However the tables were turned when reinforcements suddenly teleported in allowing VG to win a key team fight 3-1 and push all the way to the tier three mid tower. Not satisfied with the results first time around, LGD decided to once more use the Wisp relocate gank strategy to try and kill off the Alchemist at the Dire top tier two tower. Once again, the quick response coming from VG's supports saved the Alchemist and foiled their plans as LGD lost 3 heroes in the team fight and invited VG to come knocking on the doors to their base.
With the middle tower and barracks gone, LGD tried to put up one last defiant defence but the pushing and disabling power coming from VG's lineup proved too much to handle and the gg was called shortly after.
Game 2: VG.cn vs LGD

Despite been bitten, chased and howled upon by Sylar last game, LGD surprisingly gave away both Lycan and Batrider to VG and opted to use the power of Elder Titan to counter VG's pushing lineup. VG on the other hand decided to give LGD the Ancient Apparition in exchange for Vengeful Spirit and a Disruptor. The latter proved to be a constant source of annoyance to LGD as their tri lane of Lifestealer, Ancient Apparition and Rubick buckled under the constant pressure applied by the Disruptor. First blood was split at the 1 minute mark with Disruptor taking down Rubick before dying straight after. Meanwhile on the top lane, the Elder Titan pickup was becoming questionable as he struggled to gain any traction against the Batrider who took advantage of the lack of a magic wand and a set of tangoes to push back the Elder Titan and secure a couple of free kills.
At the 10 minute mark, LGD under the cover of Mirana's ultimate pushed towards the Radiant tier one tower at bottom but were foiled by a well placed sentry ward, giving VG the location of LGD's heroes in their jungle. LGD were then subjected to another round of torment as they lost three heroes to the powerful combination of Vengeful Spirit and Disruptor with Batrider, Alchemist and Lycan jumping in to finish off the mess. As the game progress on, VG took the better trades in team fights as their ability to push and lockdown LGD saw towers fall and LGD's heroes too scared to face the wolf outside their base. Gg was called at the 19 minute mark as Lycan went on a rampage, slashing away any hopes for LGD to come back in the game.
Game 1: Titan vs DT.NGC

In this best of one sudden death match, both teams opted for heroes with big game impacts. Titan secured the powerful combination of Ancient Apparition, Vengeful Spirit and Batrider while DT chose Dark Seer, Alchemist and Visage. First blood came around the 3 minute mark as Batrider was punished for greed as he attempted to steal the dire creep camps away from the supports of DT. With Viper struggling up against the constant harrasment from Pugna, DT decided to run a four man gank on the middle lane with Spectre haunting in to shut down Pugna. This turned out horribly for DT as they lost both Spectre and Viper while trapped in a chronosphere under the enemy tier one tower.
More fights were on hand as both teams met again at the 17 minute mark, each trading four kills a piece. The power of Faceless Void's and Ancient Apparition's ultimate allowed Kyxy to nab 3 handy kills however Dark Seer decided to join the queue sucking in and securing mutiple kills for DT. The shift in momentum slowly began crawling towards DT as Aghanim Scepters were picked up by both Visage and Viper and the control over the Roshan pit ensured that DT always had a number advantage in team fights.
With their whole team well armed and a farmed up Spectre, DT slowly lay siege to the bottom Radiant tier three tower with the barracks going down at the 42 min mark after a desperate defence by Titan to stop the push. Gg was called shortly after Faceless Void died twice preventing any sort of meaningful fightbacks from Titan's remaining lineup. With this win, DT will continue on their journey in the Sina Cup while Titan has been eliminated from the remainder of the tournament.
