16 teams have been placed into two groups of eight to compete for playoffs spots in GIGABYTE Premier League. Titan has pulled out of the tournament because they are reported to be deep in training for G-League.
The eight winners of the regional qualifiers will be joining eight invited teams from the South East Asian region in the GIGABYTE Premier League that is set to go live later today.
All 16 teams have been separated into two 2x8 groups. The top two placers of each group will be placed in the winner bracket of the playoffs while the third to sixth placer will be seeded on the loser bracket. The winner bracket matches will be played in best-of-three while the teams in the loser bracket will have to compete in best-of-one. The date for the playoffs are still unknown at the time of publish, although it is very likely that it will begin on the 14th of December.
DotaTalk told us earlier today that Titan will be forfeiting all their matches in the tournament because the team is hard in training for their trip to Shanghai, China to compete in G-League.
The winner of the tournament will walk away with a cool $1,000 while the runner-up will win $500 in cash.
