Na`Vi vs Fnatic: A triple rampage ending

Kicking off the first best-of-five series of the day, Fnatic drafted Weaver as their sole carry and four other supporters while Na`Vi opted for the Lifestealer-Storm bomb and Skywrath Mage. Fnatic was quick to take the lead in game one and continued to snowball especially after a counter-gank by Na`Vi got obliterated by WindRanger's two-heroes Shackleshot. After that skirmish, Fnatic owned a bigger portion of the map and started pulling away from Na`Vi farm and eventually, that won them game one.

The second game was more or less the same as game one. Fnatic picked a very interesting combination of Tiny and Io and the effect of that could be felt throughout the game. With Tiny off to a great start, going 4-0 in just 7 minutes, Na`Vi was forced to sacrifice multiple heroes just to kill him. They first threw Slardar, Clockwerk and WindRanger to hand Tiny his first death and at 17 minutes, Fnatic teamwiped Na`Vi for the same cause. Fnatic easily strolled into Na`Vi's base and took game two.

Na`Vi finally showed some sign of life in game three as they built up a five kill lead in the laning phase. After Na`Vi narrowed the gap to 6-8, Na`Vi halted their barrage and allowed Fnatic's Tiny for farm a Midas, Scepter and eventually, Assault Curraiss. Slowly but steadily, Fnatic hinted a comeback and Na`Vi immediately initiated the five-man pushes considering XBOCT's Luna had no chance against the Tiny. While Na`Vi was pushing the top lane, the Tiny and Io split-pushed the bottom barracks and an immediate Relocate to the middle of Na`Vi resulted in four Ukrainians dead. Fnatic took no time to counter-push and ended the game with a triple Rampage on Tiny.

Fnatic's win over Na`Vi has guaranteed the European mix at least a second place finish and $15,000 in DreamLeague kick-off season. Na`Vi on the other hand, will have to play yet another best-of-five against the winner of Alliance versus Liquid tomorrow afternoon.
