Roman 'Scandal' Sadotenkov, long time leader and player of Team Empire, has decided to leave the team due to alleged communication problems among players, Aleksandr 'StrangeR' Solomonov, CEO of Empire, said.
The news came as quite a shock to many considering Team Empire clinched the ESWC title just a little more than two weeks ago. "Team sports have their own features and sometimes even good results cannot guarantee stability of roster," Solomonov continued.
With the team down to four, Team Empire announced that former Virtus.Pro and RoX.KIS player Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok will be replacing Scandal's slot in the team. Resolution will be taking up the solo mid role in the team, a role that was formerly played by Scandal and attend Techlabs Cup Grand Final alongside his new team. Techlabs Cup is set to begin on the 16th of November.
Scandal joined Team Empire on the 27th of December 2011 and finished in cash 19 times throughout 2012 and 2013.
"We part as friends, without any conflicts and will support each other in future, I hope, Roman will find a solid team."
