D2L Season 4 with $50,000 to boast and offline playoffs at Las Vegas. Asian teams to join

In conjunction with Kingston HyperX, Dota 2 League - more commonly known as D2L - announced their fourth season with a prize pool of $50,000, a 400% increase from the previous season.

According to Kingston, the tournament will feature 16 top teams from all across the globe (Asia included), battling it out for the top four positions to qualify for the offline playoffs in 2014 International CES starting on the 7th of January. CES will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. An additional $40,000 will be allocated to covering flight tickets and hotel rooms for the qualified teams.

"The HyperX 2013 DotA 2 tournament will be epic as the best professional gaming teams in the world battle each other and fans will be able to watch every minute live online,” said Annie Leung, HyperX global strategic marketing manager, Kingston.

The format and full schedule of D2L Season 4 has not been released because the D2L's website is still under construction. However, Kingston assured that all the matches will be played in best-of-three and most likely be streamed live by Aaron 'Ayesee' Chambers.

Stay tuned as we update the information as soon as more details become available.
